Last year FCC Natick was recognized by the Southern New England Conference United Church of Christ (SNEUCC) as a Level 3 Green Congregation – a rare and noteworthy achievement! We’re building on this accomplishment by accepting the Congregation Climate Justice Voter Challenge.

The upcoming election is set to be one of the most consequential in history, particularly when it comes to addressing the climate crisis. And we know that congregations are influencers in their communities. This is why the SNEUCC Environmental Ministries Team is challenging all churches in our Conference to have at least 75% of their worshipping community take the Creation Care Voter Pledge.

This isn’t about candidates or parties or platforms but a challenge to vote our values, including concern for climate justice. The witness of local congregations can inspire the wider networks of which they are a part to make the environment a priority in upcoming elections. In caring for God’s interconnected creation, we’re putting love into action for every living creature and for every economically or racially marginalized community that suffers from environmental harm.

We encourage everyone to get on board with this challenge by signing the Creation Care Voter Pledge: "I pledge to be a consistent voter, and I will always prioritize caring for God's creation in how I vote."

Time is short. Everyone for whom the environment is a priority needs to let their voice be heard. Join us today in taking the Creation Care Pledge.

Worship Information about ways to connect during this time

Being connected to one another is essential to being church and living our faith. In this extraordinary time, we can continue our ministry and fellowship in new and different ways.

Digital Worship at First Congregational Church of Natick

We continue worship and and enjoy other church activities remotely, including enhancing our contact with one another by other means. Worship is at the very center of our life together as a congregation, as well as being at the heart of our call to proclaim and embody the good news of Jesus in the world.  Church leaders remain committed to ensuring that we can do that well.

Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding as we seek to do what is best for our worship leaders and right for our community while remaining a church that gives high priority to worship together as the Body of Christ.

While in-person worship will not be happening, you may tune in to Natick local access cable channel on Sunday at 10:30am for a modified worship service.  Please note, there is a 5 minute delay.
